Sedalia Visual Artist’s (SVAA)

Heading to SVAA meeting (first Thursdays at 6:00 PM, in the annex to the 3rd Nat’l Bank at 403 W. Broadway). I love this group. Between 12 and 24 or more attend each month – accomplished artists with lots of encouraging ideas to share. great for networking. Interesting presenters. As the program chairman I’m the one responsible and it’s IMPORTANT to me that they be timely, informative, and interesting. Tonight’s going to be especially fun – no specific presenter – we’re all the presenters! We’re bringing our latest projects and ideas AND refreshments to share. I’m so looking forward to it.

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter, Artsy bloggers!! I’ve added a nice Easter background, and now, I’m going to find a spring painting to post for your viewing pleasure. 🙂DSCN0849 (2) I call this “The Spirit of Columbia” and painted it recently for a poster contest the city was holding. I didn’t win. 😦 BUT I like it – AND all the yellow coordinates nicely with my new yellow background.
